Insanity Workout Program by Vikram Kuamr

When you use the Shawn T Insanity program, you can get the body that you want in 60 days. Imagine, using a workout program that you can perform right in your home for an hour a day and getting the results with your body that it takes people a year to achieve. The insanity workout combines intervals of long workouts with shorter breaks in an hour that you can do right when you get up in the morning or even after work to get you results, real results, that will make you look and feel better.Gym memberships are expensive and many people will look for excuses as to why they cannot go to the gym every day. Even if you do go to the gym every day, to get the results of the Insanity Workout, you will have to use weights as well as aerobic training that can take hours. Who has hours to spend at the gym on a daily basis? Not many people.

One of the best aspects about the Shawn T Insanity program is that you can do the workout in your own home. The best way for you to do this is to get up an hour earlier and then begin. Not only will you find that you are achieving the best results for your body in a very short amount of time, but the Insanity Workout will also get your heart pumping and allow you to be fully energized for the day. You will not only look better physically after trying this program, but you will also feel better at the same time. You will not feel tired or dragged out during the day. Your mind will be more alert as you also feel the results on your body from this full body workout.

The Insanity Workout is far from insane. It is the best way to get an all over body workout that can make you lose 1000 calories each time you work out using this program. Whether you want to lose weight or just get the body that you have always wanted with complete, all over muscle tone, the Shawn T Insanity workout will get you what you want.

Too tired to get up earlier in the morning to do this workout? No worries. You can use the Insanity Workout when you get home from work or in the middle of the day. You are best to use any sort of aerobics program before you eat or at least wait 20 minutes after you have eaten in order to properly work out safely. No running to the gym and no excuses. You just have to pop in the DVD and follow the workout program on your TV. You do not have to buy any special equipment for your home, that you will most likely never use, or buy a membership to a gym that you will gradually begin to forget about over a period of time.

Best of all, instead of spending a year or more to get the body that you have always wanted, you can get toned up and looking good in only 60 days when you use the Shawn T Insanity program. Once you get the results with your body that you have always wanted, you can then watch your confidence soar. It is easy, fast and fun to do the Insanity Workout and it has been proven to give results.

Which is Best – Brett Hoebel’s RevAbs or Shaun T’s INSANITY? by Pablo Bressan

RevAbs has arrived on the market and taken everybody by storm. Here at Get Moving Catalog we can say that orders are coming in fast, and our clients are impressed and really curious about Beachbody’s latest ab workout. However, we’re also receiving a lot of queries from people wanting to contrast Brett Hoebel’s workout to Shaun T’s INSANITY, the cardio/plyometrics program that givesyou incredibly ripped abs the made Shaun T a legend when it came out. How do they compare? Which program should you buy, and why?Let’s take a look at some of the easy to spot differences. INSANITY is at heart a cardio/plyometrics program, and is incredibly intense. Shaun T himself says that you should not attempt INSANITY unless you already have an excellent level of base-line fitness. If you’re looking for an extreme challenge, if you’re looking to push yourself as hard as you can, than this might be the program for you. Shaun T blasts great music as he and his friends work out, doing a wide array of jumping and cardio techniques that target your abs as well as the rest of your body. RevAbs, on the other hand, while still challenging for most, is not designed as an extreme workout; it’s more accessible and open to people of different fitness levels; in fact, each workout has a somebody in the back showing easier versions of each routine. Brett encourages and pushes you, but it’s clearly phrased as more of a challenge than a something that will tear you apart.

Another key difference is the nature of the exercises that each program uses. Brett Hoebel centers his workout on three key ideas: ab workouts, lifting free weights to burn fat, and doing cardiovascular exercises to jump start your metabolism. In his program everything is targeted from your core which is attacked from six different angles to lifting weights to high intensity interval training, all of which are designed to interact and supplement each other for maximum efficacy. In INSANITY however Shaun T focuses less on abs and more on your entire system. Shaun T’ program is all about using your body weight to get your results, from push ups to leaping to suicide jacks.

Which is the best? Which workout should you follow? That is what everybody wants to know. It comes down to a question of your own priorities-neither is necessarily better or worse than the other. The value of any workout lies in its ability to making you want to press ‘Play’ over and over again. No matter how intense or effective a program is, if you lose interest or give up because it doesn’t motivate you enough, it’ll do nothing for your body. Keeping that in mind, both of these programs will clearly deliver excellent results-one simply has to look at the before and after photos of the people who have adhered to the workout program and followed every step.

The question therefore is: do you want to be massacred by a ridiculous level of high intensity or would you rather do something that feels more like a challenging workout but won’t kill you? Would you rather spend your entire time working your whole body, or are you focused more on your core and abs? Do you want to just use your body weight, or are you willing to invest in some free weights? Whether you prefer RevAbs or Hip Hop Abs will depend on how you answer these questions. Do so some navel gazing, some soul searching, and then make your choice!

By Caroline Miller

Often termed as being one of the most “glamorous” and powerful home-workout routines of the present times, the P90X is also one of the most followed these days. There are more than 2 million people who are following the P90X for getting a ripped body. There have been a lot of success stories with the P90X over a short span of just four years. One of the major reasons behind the growing popularity of the P90X has been the way various products, equipments and supplemental diet plans have emerged alongside the original system. There have been many expert dieticians and nutritionists who have helped in making the P90X a better program that it was during its inception phase. It is the fact that there are so many helper equipments to make the actual P90X workout routines more doable, makes it an indispensable workout routine for many people.

Regular improvement over the original plan, addition of more and more products and constant marketing have made the P90X a popular system, as we know it today. We would be looking at some such products and supplements in greater depth in subsequent lines, just to give you an idea of how these supplements and equipments help you achieve the desired results in a more comfortable and fast way.

The P90X recovery shakes are probably the most desired supplemental products and are also one of the best selling P90X exercise adjuncts available in the market today. The main reason why such shakes/drinks are so popular with P90X followers is that it is designed to give your body a kick of energy, without injecting those harmful and unwanted calories. These drinks have been developed in various flavors and formats, and you would need to do some research before you narrow down on the drink of your choice. Recovery shakes can also be a good gifting item for those who are already into a full throttle P90X workout program. Antioxidants contained in such drinks help you strengthen your muscles and renew your body cells. These shakes are designed in such a way that they can enhance your body’s ability to recover from the strenuous workout routine and recover almost 100% of the calories that you might have lost during a day’s workout, without actually taking in those calories all over again. The drinks also make you feel stuffed, and therefore, greatly eliminate the need of taking food. These drinks are high in proteins and vitamins, two of the most important food items for building muscles and improving metabolism. These recovery drinks also contain small quantities of carbohydrates, which are very essential for gaining energy.

Some high-end recovery drinks are designed in such a way that they actually boost your workout levels and help you in achieving more with every single day. Such drinks might be more expensive, and might contain some chemical supplements. Be sure to consult a dietician before going in for such drinks. I personally rely more on those recovery drinks that contain natural food items and are nutritious too. Ensure that you have checked out the levels of carbs and calories in these drinks. Some of the high-end energy drinks might contain up to 1000 calories, and you don’t want to be consuming such a drink if you sole aim of getting into a P90X routine is that of losing weight.

P90X Review – Chest and Back – Phase 1 by Bob Andrews

This is a series of reviews on the P90X workout DVDs. Having been totally out-of shape when I started, now approaching the 90 day mark in the program, I’m lending my perspective.

First off let me say this is my favorite workout in the P90X program. Not just your chest and back, but your whole upper torso is “pumped” after the workout. This is a push-ups workout; mixed with pull-ups – only two of the exercises involve dumbbells or exercise bands (called “Heavy Pants, and “Lawn Mower”)

The real core of this workout is the push-up. Who knew there were so many kinds of push-ups? You start with standard pushups. Go to Military pushups, to “wide-fly” pushups, to incline pushups, to “Diamond” pushups, to “Dive bombers” (a bizarre move that requires some practice to do). All these push-up are intermixed with pull-ups, with grip close together, to wide or far apart, and chin-ups. Once you’ve done ALL these push-ups and pull-ups… you do it ALL over again. The whole workout with warm-up and cool down, takes about an hour, and really, really works your upper body.

When I started the program, it is easier to tell you what I could do, vs., what I couldn’t do… I could standard, military and wide-fly push ups if I modified them… you know, resting on my knees, rather than my toes. That’s right in order to get 8 repetitions of each push-up “style” I had to to “girl” push ups. That’s the good part of the program, build your strength in the privacy of your home, and leave your ego at the door. I am now at the 70 day mark, and can perform 20 push ups easily the “manly” way.

Day one of this Beachbody program I could not do a single pull-up, not a ONE. I’m now up to 9 or 10 on my first set, it deteriorates after that, and I use a chair to get my 8 reps in, but still get more reps out, every time I step up to the bar.

Like I said… I love this workout. No matter what your fitness level, it does take long to feel the “pump” on this one, making it a favorite in the series.
